Britta Glaser possesses one of those rare voices that can sing expansive dramatic repertoire and delicate coloratura alike. Her „pitch perfect soprano is equally in command of both lyrical tenderness and dramatic outbreak“ (FZ). The singer is known for her „strong stage presence“ (Foyer) and always pushes the boundaries with her authentic acting.
Upon completion of her Vocal/ Opera studies at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, the Royal Academy of Music London and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, she furthered her training as a private student in Florence and Rome.
Guest contracts have led her to the Oper Leipzig, Landestheater Altenburg/Gera, Hamburger Staatsoper/Opera Stabile, Opernfestspiele Heidenheim, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, and the Theater Aachen.
