A certain crisis of the opera business did not only start with Corona. It has been boiling underneath the surface for many years. I believe it is time to come together, share our love for this amazing art form and talk about ways to make opera and the opera industry strong, relevant and irresistible. That’s why I regularly invite people from different professional backgrounds and with different opinions. Honest communication is the clue, and mutual understanding will hopefully lead the way into a brilliant future for opera.
